On Friday, December 15, as the sun sets, the observatory will open its doors to the public for a free and mesmerizing stargazing event. Utilizing the powerful Keck Telescope and various other top-notch scopes owned by members of the esteemed Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit, the observatory promises an unforgettable experience. Visitor Information

When planning your visit to the Westmont Observatory, take advantage of the free parking available near the baseball field and the track and field/soccer complex. To access Westmont’s campus, please use the Main Entrance located off of La Paz Road. Kindly note that the lower entrance off of Cold Spring Road is closed to visitors after 7 pm.
